iRepo is a Mac & Windows utility that enables users to copy the music from iPods, iPhones, and iPads to any computer. This makes it easy to switch computers or recover lost music files. The program works with multiple devices, meaning users can retrieve music from many different Apple devices other than their own.
With a single-window interface there is no complexity: just launch the application, then connect the Apple device and select the songs to be recovered. The songs can be filtered by Genre, Artist, and Album. Users can choose to copy All, unselect All, Select the highlighted, etc.
This version supports iPad and iTunes 10 and above. In addition, users will find some extra options, such as playlist transferring; and, most importantly, iRepo is capable of matching the songs from the connected device to the music files that are already present in the computer, in order to avoid duplicates.
On the downside, it only recovers music and video and nothing else. But it allows connecting more than one Apple device, meaning users can get songs from a friend’s iPod or any other Apple device.
